The Harbour point designed as a future landmark that also serves as a transit node for the Dubai Creek Harbour Masterplan. The striking geometry of the proposal creates a unique user attraction that serves to draw people to the island. The scheme offers an opportunity for retail and F&B to be oriented towards the DCH observation tower with a series of stepped retail spaces facing into the park and activating the proposed Urban Spine. The terraces respond to the soft lines of the park design while still providing a series of public and private spaces at various levels within the scheme. Crowd behavioral patterns have been considered as key drivers in the design. Activated transition spaces make use of carefully considered nodes and axes situatied between the commercial uses of the scheme making the route from the Habour Point to the observation tower a unique and memorable experience.
